You must think that I never work, and this week you would be right. We have just had Easter weekend and now we are heading for ANZAC Day, which this year falls on a Friday.
Mr Pigalina’s side of the family are heading to Lake Hawea in Central Otago and we took a half day to go too.
Here is the view from the Cromwell lookout on the way.

Final Resting Place
Today I experienced my first ash scattering as Mr Pigalina’s uncle was laid to rest, scattered at Signal Hill on the cycle trail he rode regularly.
Not a bad view as a last one.
(Side observation – urn design could be improved; seems odd that your family is required to find a coin in order to open it to be able to scatter your ashes.)

Went to a friend’s house for her birthday. This is the night-time view, from the lounge, over Mosgiel. It is for sale, yours for around $1 million!

ANZAC day today so most of us had the day off to remember the soldier’s sacrifices for us in the various wars since WWI. Went to the dawn service which wasn’t as reverential as I would have liked – though it may have been because I arrived just as it was starting so got stuck on the outskirts of the park with the smokers, babies and sullen, forced-to-attend, teenage girls updating Facebook.
Later Mr Pigalina, the dog and I went on a spontaneous walk to the top of Flagstaff which provided fantastic views of the whole city.
