For Leighton

This week Mr Pigalina has been working late, then getting home and working some more. Therefore all I have done this week is work, get home do chores and watch “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!” from 2011. I know, I know, I shouldn’t make you all jealous of my exciting life but I can’t help it if it’s true.
This is why Pigalina has had very sparse updates. Apologies to Leighton my biggest fan. 😏

Here is the only photo from Thursday – two creatures enjoying the fire during a storm. I’m glad they enjoyed themselves because very little heat made it past them.

Dog Park

There have been no Pigalina updates since Monday because photos of mounds of tissues and other flu paraphernalia are unpleasant.
Tobias has been a loyal companion over the past few days, hanging out with me on the sofa while we cleared the back-log of cheesy horrors and rom-coms that had been recorded.
Today is my first outing, other than to the doctor or shop for tissues and pills. I have brought Tobias to the dog park to rid some of the guilt of him being trapped, bored, at home.
How he has so much wee in him is beyond me.

A Dog’s Not Just For Christmas…

A Puppy is for life.
I got really annoyed with someone I went to school with today (but of course I held it in to rant passive aggressively on here).
Before she had kids all I saw on Facebook were pictures of her dog and statuses about days out with dog and husband. Today, two children later, she was posting messages about how annoying the poor attention starved dog was being and pondering if anyone would take him off her hands.
Take that dog to the beach then tickle his belly!

A Break in the Cabin Fever

Today the wind and rain eased (at least in my part if town, that trip to The Warehouse in South Dunedin sure messed up my hair) so it was beach time. It was also time for the Pigalinas to go for a run (Pigalina’s second for the year, Mr Pigalina’s third).
Tobias came with us on the run/walk and then sulked around the house as if he had never been outside.

Evening Forest Exploration

Went for an after work walk with Tobias. To mix up the usual route we headed into the forest bit near our house. We tried in vain to find the path that leads behind the houses; then got a bit creeped out at being alone in the woods and ended up doubling back and going home the same old way.
