I tried to get on the grow your own veg bandwagon. However I have to deal with Mr Pigalina who fears the dog has weed on all the plants, birds who eat the produce and a dog who digs up the plants and buries bones under them. I need to get a green house, but green houses cost money and effort to build.
Peas though, are not a problem. Last year I planted six peas resulting in enough peas for two meals. This year I planted none but have a thriving pea plant.
Today I had to collate 45 30 page booklets all in the name of saving money on printing.
I got some help which was good, otherwise it may have taken me three hours instead of one and a half.
It’s glamorous work I do.
The Pigalinas spent the afternoon hanging three sets of “jumbo” curtains in the lounge. The ones we bought back in March and have talked about since 2011.
It is amazing how much the curtains have affected the lay out of the room. My pot plants have nowhere to go, the DVD rack has had to move, the phone and camera charging station (every home has one, right?…) is no more and the log basket floats with no permanent home.
Warm though.
