Yesterday we had a family tea for Mr Pigalina’s grandma. She handed a camera to a grandson and told him to take some photos of the all important cake ‘n’ candle ceremony.
Only I was a camera that was about twenty years old and had no film in it. “It needs film Grandma”.
“It’s got one in it.”
“You can’t buy it anymore can you?”
“Yes you can!”
So he dutifully clicked away. Even got a great group shot of the grandkids.
Apparently this same camera documented their last, two week long, holiday. All with no film in it.
Opened the salad to go with dinner only to discover, despite it having four days left before its best before date, that its best was long gone.
First world problem.
Chicken sandwiches for tea.
Mr Pigalina’s granddad is now 86, so we went out for tea to celebrate. Thanks to some trick candles – the ones that keep relighting – the top of the cake was to be avoided…
Are you looking for a 1981 calendar? You are?! What about one with a bum on it? Well I know just the shop for you…
Went for a walk with the dog at the old school. I hope they hurry up and do something with the land.
Still sunny after work? Go for a walk on the beach? Nope, spray the weeds for me *sigh*.
I have walked past this door in the rocks so many times and finally today I looked up what it was used for. It leads to a cave that may have been used to store explosives. So now we (maybe) know!
