Mobile Birds

Apologies to my nephew James, not yet born. I have started making a bird mobile. It may hang above your bed if Sister Pigalina takes pity on it. If so, it will burn into your tiny brain. But know it was made with much love x.

Family Wedding – Half the World Away

My cousin is getting married in England today. (Technically 3am New Zealand time tomorrow).
As I can’t be there I am drinking wine and watching “Superbad”. Hardly the same thing.
It has been an emotional week, what with the wedding and my sister finding out she is expecting a boy. My nephew, who looks set to be Australian.
And contrary to popular belief, NZ and Australia are not the same country.

365 day photo challenge January 14

Spent a good portion of time drawing dinosaurs for my nephew. He starred in each drawing and then he modified them with ingenious ways to escape the dinosaurs – such as throwing baby dinosaurs into their jaws so he had time to escape.
