Combined garage sale at Mummy and Daddy Pigalina’s. Apparently in my teenage years I had thought that this kettle and cosy would one day look lovely in my future home. I was so attached to it that I forgot all about it until my sister found it amongst the junk for the garage sale.
Seemingly 9am means 6am to some dedicated garage sale patrons. Dunno why they didn’t buy my kettle.
While tidying out my bedside drawers today I found four sets of spare heels for boots I no longer own.
They are still in there, they may come in handy one day. Hopefully in twenty years people aren’t sifting through my house on an episode of Hoarders.
A change around in the office was a good opportunity for me to clean out my drawers and cupboards. Things I found include a party hat from Christmas 2011; a sheet from a “warm fuzzies” exercise where colleagues listed me as thorough and organized (feel the love); a pen shaped like a body part exclusive to males and two boxes of business cards for an office I haven’t worked in for three years.
Buy my tat! Spent most of the afternoon listing my junk online.

Had some time to clean out my locker at work. Found some antibiotics that expired in 2010; a child’s t-shirt with Astro Boy on it and a Rolling Stone magazine with Katy Perry in her undies on the cover among the rubbish.
Cleaned out my car for the first time in a year. Found some interesting items under the seats.
