Thanks to Good Friday and a day off work, I have finally finished the mobile that I started making for my nephew back in January (possibly December). I hope the poor chap doesn’t grow up with a bird phobia having had to stare up at birds with Coraline-esque button eyes while trying to get off to sleep.

About to destroy a book from 1955 for a bit of decoupage. This could be a disaster.
Awful weather and Mr Pigalina was in bed with flu so I spent the day on the sofa. Even though I watched Coronation Street, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!, Come Dine With Me Omnibus, (and when Mr Pigalina joined me) Seven Years in Tibet and Voyage of the Dawn Treader I was not entirely unproductive! I completed my cat cushion and sock cow kits that I got for Christmas and my birthday.

As I have a presentation to prepare for a job interview, I of course decided that making my cake from Xbox was far more important.

Not turps nor nail polish remover can shift the paint from my fingers. Yet when I glued my bird feeder pieces together, the paint ran. Sigh.
Avoided town and the Boxing Day Sales and finished my Sock Monkey, Willard.
The Christmas Party costume making has begun. Mr Pigalina’s work party has won out, as they are more generous, so Medieval it is.
After about 5 months I decided to restart my Young Ones 8-bit cushion cover, then promptly discarded it. I intend to completely re-do it. Though how long that will take…
We got a new microwave last week and William fell in love with the box it came in. He has slept in it all week, so today I decorated it to make it less obviously an appliance box.
